Career Development
The career paths within NFS go from Analyst Consultants, to Manager Consultants, to Principal Consultants, to Partners.
| Principal Consultants | Project manager with account management responsibilities. May be evaluated for future Partnership. | Shall have superior expertise skills in at least one of NFS practices. Recognized as a potential future Partner. Principals split their time among multiple engagements, rather than working on one engagement at a time. They continue to build real expertise in functional or technical areas in order to create new thinking and develop new problem-solving approaches. They are inspirational team leaders, typically having several people viewing them as a mentor. They make sure that each associate on their team leaves their engagement better performing than when they joined the team. Acts as mentor to first year Analysts.

| Manager Consultants | Enhance competence in one or several of NFS practices. And take on clients interaction mentored by a Principal and/or Senior Partner. | Experienced and trained to deliver project engagements single-handedly and liaising directly with the clients. Managers own the client problem and have managed to develop deep expertise, trust and recognition for one or several knowledge areas. They are responsible for determining how to bring the best of NFS to the client. By working closely with clients, they maximize the impact of our work and create trust with the clients. They also follow up our work on an ongoing basis to ensure sustained impact. Clients praise their service levels and deliveries and they inspire clients and associates and embraces NFS Values and Guidelines.

| Analyst Consultants | First stage for graduate or newcomer with up to 5-8 years works experience. | Takes responsibility for a discrete part of the problem solving in each client engagement. They play an important role in data gathering, actively contribute to the team's final recommendations, and present their work to Senior Partners or Principals dependent on the lead of the project. Analysts should find different ways to continue their professional development and can be offered the role of Managers to enhance their career with NFS.
